I'm sure most of you like myself who may be around 16-20ish probably have played pokemon when your younger. I for one can say without a doubt I played pokemon when I was younger. I know people who did but, they said they didn't for some reason. Probably since they are embarrassed but, it was the "thing" at the time so no big deal. Anyone like I was asking as anyone actually caught all the pokemon in a single game on a single save before?

I remember catching them all on Pokemon Blue but, since then I had never done it.

I had all 151 in Blue, but the later games it's just way to much of a pain in the ass to basically have to import them over like 5 different games on top of knowing some one with the opposite game color of you to give you the Pokemon you can't catch.

Not to mention for most people it's impossible to get the limited edition pokemon without hacking them.

I'm the unfortunate guy, I had 149 ( missing Electabuzz ) on my yellow. My sister and brother had both red/blue version and I spent about 150+ hours training my team to lvl 100 via Elite 4. And then the red version got corrupted, we are unable to save the game. That means you had to play in one-go to reach the power plant to catch damn Electabuzz before the battery ran out on your gameboy.

I never knew what Professor Oak on 1st gen would say if you reach 150 pokemon, lmao.

This. I had all 151 in Red. I remember coming pretty close in Gold. After that, I just stopped playing the Pokemon games altogether.

I never understood why can't they just include last gen pokemon in the newer gens, they have the their already in the game, their data, move sets and sprites are all there, you just gotta do that bullshit unlocking thing by importing them.

especially when some of the older pokemon are stuck on older gen hand helds.

I caught them all in Red,Blue,Yellow and Crystal. Red,Blue and Yellow were fairly easy tho since your only missing like 8 from each of the other games. Crystal tho was by far one of my all time faves and i played it till emerald came out and then emerald i am still working at.

Never been close. Not even in the original R/B were it was actually feasible. I have a habit of restarting about halfway through Pokemon games, lol.

Hmmmm, I don't think I have.
I didn't really want all the pokemons, like Zigagoon (I might have spelled it wrong) cause it kept poping up. >_<
But I got pokemon from other games. :D
