THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh man this story is depressing. A kid gets into a accident and then turns into a zombie. Very sad considering in reality there are many car accidents. I like the new character and I felt very depressed knowing there are no ways to save that child. Reminds of terminal ill children. Ouri is a coward but he should know more how he is since the car is trying to remind him something. *Mod edit* Modified by aero, 11-17-08, 3:57 PM Oops! I appear to be incapable of following Rules 16 and 17, so I had to have a mod change my sig for me. |

I really like how this episode turned out. Making Ouri as more of an main character allowed more emotion into the battle than the other fights in the manga (though I've only read the 4 chapters scanlated so far.) Also, the OP was epic; can't wait until the single comes out >_< I shall now await for the fansubs. |

I'm almost tempted to keep watching this just for the violence and the nifty opening. If it weren't so mind-blowingly horrible, I probably would. |

Care to elaborate how, after watching two episodes, you have already surmised this show is "mind-blowingly horrible?" Modified by seraphjei, 10-12-08, 12:42 PM |

Good show, got freaked out when that little monster turn into the little girl and asked Ouri for help, Shouldn't he be more concerned for that girl bleeding out on the floor. That monk/priest guy is funny how he was posing at the end. And how he's trying to give those toys to Ouri. |

Was the last epiosde as distractingly dark as this one. I could barely make anything out. Overall better than the first and the op was pretty good. |

Wow the direction is totally fantastic, truly Gainax-ish (if I didn't know the director, I could be tempted to say Hideaki Anno since the style ressembles so much his), and the overall atmosphere is so dark and human at the same time. And if you add some characters with a lot of potential and a great opening by Angela, there's no doubt Shikabane Hime really is a great anime, and probably has the best first episodes I've seen this season (but let's wait until Tytania develops some more ;)). |

It just amaze me how people judge anime series. Almost all the series I've watched so far have been severely bashed (Gundam 00, Ga-rei, Shikabane, etc...) because it is... too generic? As far as I can tell, nothing was wrong with Shikabane so far and it is definitely pretty decent. Sigh. |

Awesome Op credits! OK episode, better than the first. The creatures looked cool and it does horror well. I'm wondering if 1st volume of manga will be skipped over completely. Other than that, no major complaints. |
