Don't get me wrong. The anime is warm and sweet, but I couldn't help but think there's a hidden message. Evidence? -He sees a little girl in the forest -Help her just to get close to satisfy his pedo-craving -In the end he couldn't stand her getting older anymore, so he decided to break up with her (disappear) while making it look like an accident Also, he touched her with a 'wooden stick' in the beginning and many times after that. Coincidence? I think not. Thoughts?  |

You see OP, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Wooden sticks are in no way a metaphor or symbolism of a penis... in this particular case. Uterus complications to feed the whales. @Regicide if you see a little girl in the forest that was crying cause she was lost i would help her -and waits for to see her days after days to hang out in this dangerous forest? Right.. If I was concerned with her safety and have no hidden agenda, I'd never see her again after helping her out the first day. "also if hes a pedo why doesn't he go further" -because he can't touch her and just wanted to be with her for long as he could before she gets older and became unattractive? "he doesn't disappear out of his own will" -He made it look like an accident on purpose because he didn't want to be the one who initiate the physical aspect of the relationship and make it obvious to her what kind of man he really is. He even said himself that there 'could' be humans present in every festival. So, why isn't he more cautious to who he interacts with? -He also hinted to her that he won't be seeing her again, and that this was going to be their last night right after Hotaru told him she's going to be out of school and can come see him all the time. "wooden stick because its the most convenient" -There are many other non-violent alternatives, and there's no reason to 'physically harm' a little girl that he's trying to help. ......this isn't even funny. You are way overthinking everything. I think Gin saw himself in her place when she was lost in the forest because he was once also in a similar situation and someone helped him. I don't even feel like talking about this anymore, it pains me so much to see you ruin such a beautiful movie.  |
