THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Zomg, that was great. But the Tachikomas...... ;___; So at the end, Major couldn't save Kuze, but did Kuze upload himself to the net? Overall 9/10. |

Wishy said: Epic. If I were to sum up episode 26 in one word I'd use the same too, Wishy. Actually, 2nd gig can be considered an epic too. Safe of the nuclear destruction thanks the Tachikomas! An epic between the animes! The end combines well with our time! |

Yup, nothing short of epic. The only thing I'm sad about is that Tachikoma got their butts kicked again, and this time, for good. Then again, they saved the world Dejima. I still have the movie to watch, but it would be great to see a third season... 9/10 |

Does anyone know the song that the Tachikomas sang before they (sob!) died? Very sweet and so fitting, I'm gonna miss those guys...gals? OK, sentient beings. Anyway the Machikomas sound really dull in comparison. |

I believe the song was an old children's song (or nursery rhyme) in Japanese. It kinda reminded me of the songs of Kenji Kawai from the two GiTS movies of Oshii. the tachikoma's are the true heroes. I'm a little confused, what's with the apple? |

I answered a post last year, see the last post, number 6 for my answer to your question. http://www.concretebadger.net/blog/2007/04/19/gits-sac-2nd-gig-episodes-24-26-and-final-thoughts/ hope this helps! Wonder who the Major was referring to when she said someone she could 'trust'? Batou perhaps? |

Tachikomas saves the day again. It was also pretty satisfying to watch Gouda get shredded with bullets. |

I just finished watching this for the very first time. it was the dub. keeping the tachikoma's song in japanese was a wonderful touch. but kuze... there are tears in my eyes. I'm almost sad that I'll never be able to experience this for the first time again. |
