This came on my mind when i saw an Anonymous sticker in the subway. Anonymous is as close as it gets to real world "Zero". - They fight for what they think is right, their biggest fight is against governments oppressing citizens, however they also lead smaller fights for good cause ( Such as destroying sites with child pornography or tracking down and handing over a hacker that hacked a child hunger relief donation site) - No one knows their real identity, so it becomes easy to impersonate them, and a lot of people do - Their symbol is a mask(And a suit) and is used by their followers to affiliate with the group - During the recent Anti-ACTA internet freedom "revolution" (Mostly in Europe) tens of thousands of people got together in various cities to protest against the bill. During the event, Anonymous were looked on as the heroes, inspiration, and leaders of the revolution. Just like Zero, you can basically call Anonymous an idea. Noone really needs to be the actual leader, as long as it gives people an imaginary authority to unite under. That are some of the resemblances I noticed. Modified by Akcope, 12-16-12, 7:27 PM |

I reckon he resembles Legend of Korra Amon... 'No matter how good you are you alone cannot change the world.' -L Death Note 'I don't like that word. After all, it makes me lonesome. Even though, 'Farewell'. I have to make sure I say it right, Amber?' -Maki, Darker than Black ~ They say too much thinking can create something that's not really there in the firet place. So give me a moment, I'm busy thinking about cake. |
