I've played Catherine and it was really great, so I'll look out for those other ones, and I've been meaning to get Final Fantasy XIII for a while. ![]() |

If you haven't played Dark Souls yet then I would highly recommend that. It is pretty cheap to pick up now and, while it can be a challenge, it is a lot of fun if you like action games/RPGs. |

Instead i would say "If you think you have even a tiny bit of masochistic impulses then pick up Dark souls" *Thumbs up* I would second the new Final fantasy games though, many people dislike them due to the changes but if your going in fresh then they are great little games. It may help little though Aloe-cat if you tell people little about your gaming tastes. Whether your looking out for RPG's or you like shooters etc. Help narrow it down a bit ;P ![]() ![]() |

If you like action games, you need to get Ninja Gaiden 2. It's notorious for its punishing difficulty and steep learning curve, but once you get the hang of the game mechanics and combat system, it's really really fun. One of my favorite games of all time, and I prefer it much more than its PS3 Sigma 2 counterpart, having played both games to death. Plus, it's pretty cheap now. NG3, on the other hand, is an entirely different story. |

That depends if you want recs for exclusive titles, or just titles that are multiplatform. If you don't own a ps3, then their are tons of great games for the xbox 360 and ps3, i don't think i really want to list to many of them. Their is just so many of various genres. But if your looking for great exclusives, i would reccomend BLue dragon Lost oddyssey Gears of war Halo series Any paticular genre you favor over others? Modified by ArtemisX, 07-31-12, 8:09 PM |

Rayman Origins is a surprisingly awesome platformer, looks great too. Dark Souls, as stated above, incredibly difficult, but one of the best games I have played on the 360. Blaz Blue if you are looking for fighting games. Super Meat Boy is a very cool downloadable game, as is Spelunky. Only other ones I can think of that haven't already been mentioned are Brutal Legend and Eternal Sonata. |

First off, I recommend any franchise exclusive to Xbox 360 (Halo, Gears of War, etc.) and at LEAST one Call of Duty game. The following games I recommend if you do not also have a Play Station 3. RPG's: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 3, Mass Effect (1-3), Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, Final Fantasy XIII (I'm a FF fan so I do NOT recommend Final Fantasy XIII-2 but it's your choice), Fable 2, Fable 3, Dragon Age 1+2, Dragon's Dogma, Dark Souls FPS's (First-Person Shooters): Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (1-3), Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Battlefield 3, Tom Clancy's Rainbox Six 2: New Vegas (also TPS), Bioshock 1+2 TPS's (Third-Person Shooters): Tom Clancy's Ghost Reacon: Future Soldier, Lost Planet 2, Resident Evil 5, Left 4 Dead, Left 4 dead 2, Gears of War (1-3) Action: Devil May Cry 4, Ninja Gaiden 2, Assassin's Creed 1+2, Assassin's Creed: Revelations Fighting: Soul Calibur 4, Soul Calibur 5, Tekken 6, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat Other: Catherine, L.A. Noire, Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 4, Saint's Row 3, Portal 2 (kind of FPS). Of these games I recommend primarily: Mass Effect (1-3), Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 3, Eternal Sonata, Dragon's Dogma, Final Fantasy XIII (if you aren't a major FF fan), Bioshock, Call of Duty: Black Ops (my favorite CoD), Devil May Cry 4, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, Portal 2, and the Halo and Assassin's Creed franchises. There are many other games that I probably would recommend but cannot remember. These are pretty much the best universely accepted games on the 360. Just keep an eye out on the gaming market, there are plenty of other good/great games for the 360. Modified by Aluvis, 07-31-12, 9:25 PM |

I have played most all of them and alot of them are critically acclaimed titles and franchises. For rpgs though i would also add Valkrie Chronicles, White knight Chronicles 2, Infiniite Undiscovery, Residence of fate. FOr some more action titles, uncharted, Red dead redemption, Rage, Platformers, Ratchet and clank, but other then that, yeah great list. |
