Perhaps he thought of "Angel Beast" when thinking of "Little Bursters".

But, I ask: what problem do people have with this story?
I have my share of problems but it's less at the concept and more at some of it's exagerations and holes. Mainly:

And that's just a few of the things I found wrong with it. Basically, the route was too dramatic for it's own good. It tries to play the pity card to such an extreme it was just too implausible.

Thank you Zmffkskem for taking the stand as well.

this anime has been so anticipated, i dont know what in the world is going to come out of this. But i do know that at least JC Staff -studio which i admire- has a good chance to make this thing interesting.

If it's bad, fine, rage then. I won't be happy if they deliver a sub-par product either. But I will not write off a highly anticipated series before it's even aired one episode.

It might almost be better if its bad, though... since that means KyoAni will likely release a better version later on. It happened with Kanon and Clannad, and I don't doubt it'll happen with Little Busters as well.

Eh, I really doubt that it will be the case. If I recall correctly, the reason an anime of Little Busters took so long to come out is because Key wanted Kyoto-animation to do it, but they kept refusing. So they finally went with JC Staff after a while. Like I said, not sure if that's accurate, but if it is, I really doubt KyoAni is gonna do it later, especially since they have switched their focus from drama to comedy in recent years.

I for one, hope JC Staff does a great job, but I'm not holding my breathe. JC Staff has been really hit and miss for me, and to adapt Little Busters to an anime is a huge task, considering the enormous amount of fan anticipation, and the fact that the story, if done wrong, could ruin the entire thing before it even nears the end.

Eh, I definitely do doubt it. Kanon was a one-off. Clannad was intentionally done as two simultaneous projects - the film came out right before the TV series and both were announced long before the other was out. Air was done the exact same way, remember? And as Random posted, if KyoAni wanted to do LB! they would have done it already. Everyone really needs to give up looking to KyoAni for salvation here. JC is what we've got. I've resigned myself so that and am looking at this optimistically and hoping for the best.

I'm not going to hope for this adaptation to be bad on the slight, slight chance that it might get a better re-do. Especially because once I've seen the story, everything is spoiled (in the "I know what happens now." sense). I want my first experience of it to be as good as it can be. Watching a reboot from another studio a year or three later just isn't the same at all.
