"Yaoi" is concept commenly known in Buddhist religions as Saṃsāra, idea of infinite repitition of lifetimes to attain perfection. To attain moksha, release from cycle, one must accept one's position as uke, with Gautama Buddha himself as seme. |

You've raised some interesting points there, MAL user counterfeitelijk, and welcome to our humble society of yaoi. Especially the last part, it truly touches my soul. One could say that as a follower of The Yaoi Sect, endless reiterations of yaoi would be both the most horrifying and yet most glorifying state we could end up in. To continue with the Buddhist ideology, The Four Noble Truths mentioned in the Buddha's first discourse, I believe pertain specifically to yaoi. Buddha said: 1. Life means suffering. 2. The origin of suffering is attachment. 3. The cessation of suffering is attainable. 4. The path to the cessation of suffering. Is not the origin of the term yaoi similar? Allow me to offer comparison: Japan said: やめ て、お尻が、いたいから or, Yamete, oshiri-ga, itaikara! Stop, my ass hurts! Coincidence? I think not. I think yaoi is the vehicle of suffering that Buddha mentioned, which we must overcome to reach enlightenment. |

If I may interject, basic connections can be made to Hinduism as well. Karma, the "moral law of cause and effect", is in essence exemplified by the act of committing hot yaois; the primal scene. Metaphorically speaking, the "cause" and "effect" that compose anal penetration are rather obvious, no? Maek your dreams...TAEK the LIDOFF... |
