First of all there are people who don't like: - how their countries are shown (funny fact I haven't met Italian person which is offended - usually they were like: Pasta XD - that their countries are NOT shown So there is first reason :3 Second are those pairings... and again people who don't like that, let's say, England is paired in Russia. Because how in the real life?! England and Russia? No no no no, we don't like those... In real life we could only pair England with England 2, and Russia with entire Earth! It's legit - everyone is in denial ;) |

Are they the same people who think Hetalia is supposed to be historically accurate or..? I think people just don't like the show and the hype that us fans give it just makes it worse. It's not like we're gonna force everyone to watch it when it comes out. For the most part, on MAL at least, all our major fangirling will happen in the episode discussions. Yeah, a LOT of fans get extreme over it everywhere else on the Internet, but that's not the shows' fault. Eh, I'll watch it and enjoy everything about it. Again, haters gonna hate. |

I don't suspect anyone to go to topic, of let's say, Turn A Gundam and start to talk about "Let's check that cute fanart of mine of Hungary and Italy eating lettuce <3" And best thing is that a lot of people who complain about this fandom, are quite loud in fanboying some other show XD But that's community - at least it's sometimes entertaining.
