| The last five minutes gave me some Star Trek flashbacks. Though the first 20 minutes were some awesome action, and many a manly tear shed. RIP guys who never got enough screen time. |

| Awesome yet sad episode. Even the twins, who i never cared about during the whole series, made me go all emotionnal when they died. Their death was probably the "best" of the bunch. And their maniacal laugh+huge explosion destroying a bunch of anti-spirals was great. Rest in peace, great gurren brigade members who fought to the end... "AHH! A giant naked chick in space!" |

| With any anime these days, especially in the sci-fi genre, you can expect multiple deaths in the last 5 episodes, and TTGL is no different it seems. However, manly tears were shed, its true. At least they died among the stars instead of in a cave. I hope we get more info on the bad guys. I'm all for keeping them mysterious to heighten the tension, but if we get some idea of what motivates them to be so evil, that would be nice too. |

| Well, tons of deaths in this episode, but when they died it just made me think that they should have explored their characters more so that their deaths would have more of an impact. |

| Those kids barely made it. And good two. I would have been damn pissed if they died. Not that the show would be likely to get rid of children, but still. They were some of my favorite minor characters. I was actually kinda worried about them the way the situation was going. I like Darry's little honorable shot, like others did. Trying to defend the ship even though it was dangerous. And that she's still alive. I hate to say it, but I'm glad she got injured, and was willing to die instead of endangering her bro Gimmy. Because that's what made it so honorable. |

| Haven't finished watching this episode yet but I hope that annoying kid, Gimi, would die too. And the stupid brute twins. GG LOL "Let us show you the resolve of Dai-Gurren Brigade" :)) Our resolve is to foolishly charge in LOLOL !!! It's this kind of attititude, undiscipline and "Wannabe Heroism" that are gonna destroy them. Soldiers who can't obey orders, deserve to die. Simple as that. Served them right ! |

| O_O so many Gurren-dan members dead, and so many nearly dead That moment where the dai gurren was swallowed up by the ocean was possibly the most disheartening thing in anime ever :'( ISSATRAAP!!!!!!! Oh well I'll trust Simon and Yoko and all the others to finish the series well, it is getting close to the end. |

| I just watched this (like the loser I am :P) during New Year celebrations in my home town, so loads of loud fireworks were randomly going off during the whole episode. Needless to say, I thought that was rather appropriate for the final battle of the Dai-Gurren brigade! |

| They are definitely drawing Yoko's boobs too big now. Not attractive imo. I didn't even know the names of most of those guys who died. I didn't feel too bad. Although I did enjoy the comedy of the twins throughout the series. Underrated characters. I really hope they aren't sowing the seeds for KittanxYoko, because I don't think Kittan deserves her. |

If you saw, they showed a flash of what was controlling one of the enemy ships before the first death, and it was a robot. It makes sense that robotic lifeforms would want changing, spreading, propogating lifeforms erradicated, since they don't need them to live and them being alive only posses threat to the reality in which they live. So it isn't really being evil. It's more being cold, calculating, emotionless and logical. |
