You don't have to post a monster list, just keep an eye out. When ever I read manga and someone pulls out a scythe I go "Oh wait! I should see if that's on the list" and a do. It's more of a case of stumbling upon them rather than searching.

Guidelines

The character is eligible if:
1.) They are a scythe
2.) They have ever used a scythe for battle
This includes borrowing someone else's
3.) They own a scythe
they don't necessarily have to use it
4.) The character is featured in an official piece of art with one
This includes volume covers, splash pages and promotional art, but it MUST be official artwork to count

What counts as a scythe:
A staff with a crescent shaped blade at the end, or both ends... This should be pretty self explanatory.

Hand scythes/sickles/kama/kussarigama do count.

War scythes, and by that I mean the type of scythes used real life combat, are up to my discretion. Make your case; convince me it's a war scythe and not simply a pointed stick.


Preferred format:

Character Name - Series Name
Image inside spoiler tags (official art preferred)

Ex:
Hidan - Naruto


Important Note: If the character isn't in the MAL database they can't be added. Sorry video game characters. :< However if they are from an anime/manga but don't have a character bio, just go ahead and create one! It's fun, and all you need is a sentence or two and a picture. Chances are someone will go in after you and flesh it out more.

***Make sure to check the list twice so you don't look careless for posting someone that's already on it!***

Athena (Campione!) - uses a scythe in her adult form
Tsubaki Nakatsukasa (Soul Eater) - has a chain scythe form
Black Star (Soul Eater) - Tsubaki's user
Kiyomasa Senji (Deadman Wonderland) - his ability is two scythe-like blades in his arms
Toto Sakigami (Deadman Wonderland) - copies Senji's ability
Tokiko Tsumura (Busou Renkin) - the blades of her "Valkyrie skirt" are supposedly scythes

Athena, Tsubaki Nakatsukasa, Black Star, Kiyomasa Senji, and Toto Sakigami have been added.
Tokiko Tsumura was not because the blades on her Valkyrie skirt are more like spears than scythes. Thanks for the submission, but for any future submissions remember to add pictures. ;)

It could potentially distract from this board's purpose. :) Remember, not everyone can read every manga and watch every anime. There is no such thing as a blatant miss.
