Well my worst nightmare was about a giant purple teddy bear who drooled green goo eating my entire family and then for the world's army to fail at killing it finally causing it to kill and destroy anything that approaches it. It hasn't happened... yet. |

May I ask that you clarify whether you are referring to nightmares during sleep, or bad situations you though up in your head and it came true. |

The bad dreams I have tend to be an amplified version of the bad things going on in my life. So to a lesser extend yeah, they have. For the other way of answering this question "bad situations you though up in your head and it came true" version honestly I feel like this happens to me quite a bit. It's never as bad as "worst nightmare" but I can just see what the worst possible thing is, and then BAMP! it happens. Like the other day, at work, we have this large box where we put about 100 bags of chips. I was stocking this box, and I thought to myself, 'when I carry this box over to the other side of the store, the bottom is going to fall out' and when I carried the box, it lasted an entire five feet. All those chips were on the floor. |

By definition unless you could consciously manipulate your dreams or just forgot about all of them, your "worst" nightmare is in all likelihood impossible. After all, dreams is pretty much (albeit crudely) defined as a jumbled mess of memories, usually blending fiction and nonfiction, different time and space alike. I had falling off a cliff/bridge with a high-speed car for a while as a kid, one possible reason why I refuse to get a driver's license., although I'm sure I'm not the only kid with such nightmares before. |

My worst nightmare is that someone would make a thread worse than "MAL for other things? liek books?" and unfortunately, it just came true. Winter_Shard said: well with the way the world is right now anything is possible I don't think it's possible to use this pseudo-intellectual phrase any worse than you just did, ahhaha. I don't mean that insultingly, it's just funny. People usually drop that in "the state of things" discussions, not "imagine if we got attacked by a giant teddy-bear" discussions. Tachii said: I had falling off a cliff/bridge with a high-speed car for a while as a kid, one possible reason why I refuse to get a driver's license., although I'm sure I'm not the only kid with such nightmares before. I just got my license a few months ago actually, finally I am a real member of society. Driving is ridiculously easy though and feels a lot safer than I thought it would, so I would still get yours soon (unless it's really convenient for you to walk/bus everywhere). Once I had a dream that I was 5 years old again and I was playing with my friends in a daycare and all of a sudden green zombies(?) attacked the daycare building and started biting everyone, turning them all into zombies. I had to pretend I was a zombie by moaning and staggering around and somehow was able to fool them. One of the kids who I happened to dislike was still playing outside on the playground jumping rope by himself and was unaware of the crisis occurring inside so we went outside, captured him, and tied him to one of those really long dining hall tables that you see in the Harry Potter movies in Hogwarts (I don't remember how we got there) inside of a similarly-fashioned huge dining room with a really tall ceiling. Then we all started chanting "Sacrifice! Sacrifice!" and a big dragon smashed his head through the ceiling and ate him as he lie helplessly tied to the table. It never really happened though and I think it started off as a nightmare but it turned out kind of entertaining lol. |

Post-Josh said: lol, it seems anything legit needs a driver's license these days.finally I am a real member of society But yeah, I know it's very simple. You could say it's a borderline -phobia for me. Though half the time people can't tell I'm being serious on refusing to get a driver's license or not. And I admit, half the times I don't even know if I'm serious about conserving the environment or I'm just too indifferent about learning to drive. |
