Why is it that these episodes are more entertaining than the dull mystery arcs?

Well, that's not fair really. Everything Fuyumi told her was an honest answer to Eru's request. It just was on level well above anything Eru knows. It'll be interesting seeing her try to put that advice to use.

I don't think it was Lelouch... or at least it didn't look enough like him.

And Oreki saves the day. I really was expecting him to go and deliver the flour himself, but this was good too.

Really nice episode.

oh... I thought VA = Visual Appearance ... but that didn't really sound like him.... or maybe I'm used to him sounding more dramatic.

These festival episodes are definitely the best parts of this show. Since it seems another mystery is coming up, even though they're doing much better with the slice-of-life, I have a feeling I'll be disappointed once again. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

Damn, Oreki getting all that stuff reminds me of all those trade quests in the Zelda games.
And I totally LOL'ed when the commentary guy said "Watashi Kirinarimasu!" Way to poke fun at your own anime, KyoAni!

If you listen closely it sounds just like him. Mazui even said there were 2 top seiyuu guest appearances this ep :P

Still not sure who's the second one though.

Lol love this episode! It's been a while since they show Irusu <3<3 and Chitanda got powered up by Irisu XD And that handshake between her and Irisu was so CUTE !!

loved it was smiling the whole way through and more Irisu screentime was just a bonus :), and Mayaka handling the last meal with what she had was nicely done i would have thought she would freak out a bit more then she normally does lol.

only thing is Another Festival episode?! i mean this isn't a problem since it's one of the better parts of the series so far but still 4 episodes of it is alot!

Damn....I thought we was rid of that stuck up bitch episodes ago.....And yet she returns.....So don't want that. Anyways.....I liked this episode, cooking contest really intense xD. Next episode should be interesting x_X.....I just hope we get some Chitanda x Oreki moments next episode. Would be nice if Oreki could come across Chitanda putting what she learned from Whorezilla to the test, except he sees it a bit differently and gets pings of jealousy......>_> <_<....

Enjoyed this episode and was suprised that Oreki would yell :D

And I've never seen an anime that captures a school festival this well. It seriously looks like a lot of fun.

Entertaining from beginning to end, much better than the mystery arcs.
