| More practice fight, and this time it's as team. OnoD's character, as a returning from US, is shocked about the huge number. He got scolded by the female instructor. He has problem with nationality from how others look at him. This kind of reminds me of IS: Infinite Stratos with female pilots coming from foreign countries. |

| The episodes keep getting better and better. Having a protagonist with a good personality and motives and skills really does wonders for an anime. Yuuya Bridges is quickly becoming a favored protagonist this season and I hope he continues to grow and evolve as a character. Many emotions I did have this episode, mainly involving the Japanese and Japanese-America race distinction and some previous history with the unfair way people treated him in the past. Since he was American, second gen, they ought to have considered him American, I think. Though I guess growing up in such an environment would leave him with such instilled feelings against anything Japanese even if its his tsf. Well at least he's progressing towards acceptance. |

| I really enjoyed the first two episodes. I wished Yui was the all round main character because I don't like the mc he's to arrogant and with him the show is getting predictable because we all know a romantic relationship will start and i think I enjoyed the first two episodes because it gave a more this is real war kinda feel, like the show didn't care about losing characters but now all this drama is gonna start ill still give this show a chance though. |
This episode got good when they started introducing Inia with Cryska during the fight in the following spoiler  She was so nice there and can’t believe she took Bridge’s arm in the spoiler I got to admit that Inia/Cryska’s bath part in the spoiler The second part with Inia that got enticing is the following,  Along with what happens in the spoiler Finally one can see that it was Inia in the spoiler About the fan service, might as well get it out of the way. Say hello to BLINDING LIGHT OF DEATH! In the spoiler About beginning, I can see the start rather CG nice with Bridges and his mecha in the spoiler About Bridges, so I realized later on it’s all about Bridges in this episode. His conversation with Yui in the spoiler About Bridges in the fight, well one thing I can assure of myself is that HE FUCKED UP in the spoiler About Bridges’s past, kind of obvious in the spoiler The whole part with the mother in the spoiler About the new gun, really kick ass in the spoiler Abut Bridges in the prison, oh WTF is that in the spoiler About the Rescues party! Now that was KICKASS! It was fun in the spoiler About thee end of the episode, I see 2 points of interest. | Better than last week. Yui has become pretty kickass and looks much better with long hair. Curious to see her in action again. Kinda funny to watch right after Jinrui, because of the same VA that sounds so different in both series. |

Her so called arrogance derives from her not wanting to repeat the same mistakes: her naivete and her lack of understanding the BETA resulted in a near-death experience and a psychological atom bomb. She's saving Bridges' life the hard way. The main character, on the other hand, seems like a generic angst-filled childhood lead. I haven't noticed anything interesting about him at all. Meanwhile, the side characters remain side characters, but every scene with Yui is a gem for me! |

Japanese TSFs are just more fickle compared to American TSFs and it takes a lot of getting used to from switching over. That's partly because of the difference in combat philosophy but also because the US generally makes better machines. The Shiranui is a 3rd generation machine but the Strike Eagle can match it in TSF vs TSF combat and the Raptor easily surpasses it. Japan began creating the Shiranui 2nd because they knew that the Shiranui needed an update to match the Raptor. |

Well the main point of Total Eclipse isn't fighting the BETA since this is just a side story. The base they're at is mostly for testing various TSFs and weapons. That's why you see a wide variety of TSFs all at once. So they aren't aiming to deploy him against BETA, but just to see how well the Shiranui 2nd does as a machine. Yui already has her Takemikazuchi to use. The pilots in TE are merely there to see if the machine works out before models are sent into real combat by other pilots. Also the TSF Yuuya is using now is merely a training suit used to help pilots adapt to the demands of a 3rd generation TSF before they become pilots. Although in actual performance it's below a 3rd generation. It's more like a 2nd or 2.5th generation TSF, but the OS/UI is also watered down as well since it's not made for combat purposes. |

Do you not think she's yelling at him so he'll stop being so macho and maybe, you know, not get killed because he thinks he's better than he is? |
