The 2nd season is about AKB48 general election. It said on the site. http://akb0048.jp/ If you guys don't know what the general election is..it's an event where fans vote for the top AKB girls to represent the group, since there's way too many to know who to promote at one time. It gave the fandom alot of amazing moments..and some lulzy ones..It was originally a small event but grew to the size that even Google streamed in english, and many major national TV stations start airing it. No I think there's going to be mystery about Sensei Sensei, Acchan's mystery, and DES as well so it won't be slice of life There's going to be hell of a lot more drama just like AKB election :3 |

I read some people cried during some ep...:P You don't really need to know about AKB to like this, but there's TONS of references, from small things to actual scenes in the show that mirrored real life situations that happened in AKB. It's probably more enjoyable if you know the group but it's fine if you don't. |
