Sword of the Stranger and Summer Wars. The fight scenes just made me hypnotized. "Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional." Haruki Murakami |

Another +1 topic where the majority of anime in the top 10 movies on MAL already. I think I should make a topic why people always have an urge to post in +1 post topics that offer no further discussion whatsoever. |

Regarding the rest of your post, it's mostly because people like to talk about what they like or don't like and make it known. It's a way to establish yourself I guess. |

Sword of the Stranger to me, I just watched this the other day. The story was great, the action was awesome, and the animation quality was top notch. I was a great movie from beginning to end. Ghost in the Shell, classic greatness I've watched this movie too many times and it never gets old. |

Yes I realized I didn't really even finish the sentence. Bah, now I'm too unmotivated to make this topic again. (I stopped halfway through for like 3 times now with this same topic). :/ |

Hitchens said: Haven't watched a lot of anime movies, but among the few that I have watched, Ghost in the Shell ranks at the top, with Perfect Blue at a close second. HOLY SHIT THANK YOU, I WAS SCROLLING THROUGH EACH PAGE LIKE OK SOMEONE HAS TO MENTION GHOST IN THE SHELL. YOU ARE A GOOD MAN. Other then GiTS, probably Princess Mononoke or Castle in the Sky from Ghibli. Kara no Kyoukai 5 and 7 are up there too, and I feel like Redline should be thrown in by someone. If I had to pick one though, GiTS for sure. ![]() |

The 5th Kara no Kyoukai movie. As a child, I was told that society is a melting pot of talents; knowledge and experience combined to form important alloys that will contribute to mankind. When I got to highschool, however, I thought that it's more like a river in which the water represents our peers while we ourselves are the stones in the river. Constant erosion by mindless majority sheeping has made us lose our unique edge. After I hit the age of 18, I realized that I've been wrong all along. Society is no melting pot. Society is no river. Society is a person, a very skilled rapist, and he has fucked us all. |

End of Evangelion. The most balls-out insane mindfuckery ever conceived. There is little that rivals its pure nihilism to this day. Honorable mentions to My Neighbor Totoro and Paprika. My first novel, Kardia has been published! Click here to read! Every time you recommend Sword Art Online, a baby seal gets clubbed. |

EoE. This is a masterpiece that could change the feelings of the audience and only a few people who can understand what the purpose of this movie. Hatred, envy, anger, betrayal, fear, loneliness, all the bad things are in this movie yet it's all great significance. |
