Ever growing pizza party of gerbils with rabies. Connect the pimples into the pine tree that you always wanted as a pet. Dogs made of ground horse meat walk the streets. Bestiality meat fucking. Clowns in cars with yarn and riddles. Drink the sand it's friendly. But those who build planes will surely know where the medicine is contained. The squid's corneas quiver to the sight of you. Eggplant gymnastics where's the panties? They're with the panda who loves licking ladders. ~The sign of MAL's death |

I really can't pick only 5 movies, the last decade had so many great movies, so I am gonna go with 10, in no specific order. Memento (2000) Mulholland Dr. (2001) Mou gaan dou - Infernal Affairs (2002) Salinui chueok - Memories of Murder (2003) Sin City (2005) The Prestige (2006) Pan's Labyrinth (2006) No Country for Old Men (2007) The Dark Knight (2008) In Bruges (2008) Worthy mentions: Inglourious Basterds (2009), Moon (2009), Zodiac (2007), Eastern Promises (2007), Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Snatch (2000) and probably some that I am forgetting right now. Nolan's movies seem to dominate my list, but while I hate to rank them in order, with a gun at my head, I would choose Pan's Labyrinth as my ultimate favorite, Guillermo del Toro imagination is awe inspiring. |

I am probably the most uncultured person ever, when it comes to film. I didn't watch many growing up and still don't now. I can make almost anyone cringe by listing all of the popular/important movies that I haven't seen. With that in mind... these two shine above the rest for me. The Prestige (500) Days of Summer The worst, but falling into the "so bad it's good" category, is Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale. Modified by Araby, 07-27-12, 8:01 PM Yeezus walks. |
