Yeah, thought it was a good episode. I'm glad it seems to be about as violent as the Shin HnK OVAs. Was worried they'd stay away from too much of the red stuff. Overall, gret episode showing Raoh's rise to power.      |

It was awfully mediocre, vastly disliked the narrator, I can't really get behind the new character designs and the OP is a boring song. Hopefully the story will pick up, though, because the animation is certainly decent and I'm convinced this still has potential to be good. If only we could have Kenji Utsumi back as Raoh.... |

I enjoyed it... I just wish I had someone that was subbing it so I can actually get a sense of the story rather than simply guessing and recognizing a word here and there. The 2nd episode should be out sometime tonight so that'll be dope. Still makes me wonder though with Roah being so super badass that he blew a hole through the guy and then through the building hundreds of feet behind him why would he have had such trouble with Kenshiro? lol.      |

Awful. Visually it looks like Golgo 13 TV (which I find trashy) and the animatioin seems almost non-existent. I feel like this is something that would have been thought of as edgy and put on Liquid Televison of MTV 15 years ago alongside Aeon Flux. Devoid of character, charm, or excitement. It makes me question why I hold Hokuto no ken so close to my heart in the first place. |

Visually its poor. Story wise, its decent. Characters are as expected. (Still love Reina though) But still seems like it will entertain. All in Alll, 7/10 for 1st episode |
