I didn't know until I saw the release on Manga Updates but the 5th volume of my favorite Light Novel came out on the 10th. It is the highest rated Light Novel on Manga Updates (Yes, in case you're wondering it is higher than Sword Art Online, Spice & Wolf, Index - the original and the sequel, the Monogatari series, No.6 and so on and so forth), 13th if you include all titles (including Manga, Webcomics, Manhwas, Manhuas, OELs, Doujinshis and Light Novels). I am so very disappointed that the 5th volume of "Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria" (The Empty Box and the Zeroth Maria) didn't even make it into the top 30 in its first week... Well it did go 2 years without a volume coming out, but I guess I can say goodbye to any chances of it getting an anime or even a manga adaptation. I'll leave the summary here in the spoiler (as any good fanboy should): Well, at least the fan-lation(?) is coming out fast enough. The story is quite complex so I guess I'll re-read the first 4 volumes again. Let the mindfuck begin. |
