THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- did anyone else notice how the Dharma horse looks similar to a Zebra? =D and I can't wait for how the 4 heavenly kings are going to fight the beasts |

This chapter of Toriko is the reason why I love long running shonen. It's as though everything that happened before now was building up to this, and it is going to rock! |

All of the setting we had in Toriko is freaking destroyed! Holy. Why leave us in a cliffhanger? Cannot wait to see them beat those Gourmet World monsters.  |

So Gourmet Pyramid and Ice Hell were wrecked. Since the 4 beasts only come once every few centuries, it suggests both the Pyramid and Ice Hell were built before the 4 beasts arrived. Not to mention the fact that IGO boss Ichiryuu fought the 4 beasts the previous time, so Ichiryuu is even older than Ice Hell and Gourmet Pyramid?!?!  |

You have to remember that Ichiryu was trained by Acacia who lived around 600 years ago. |

Isn't this a little too much? Toriko can survive thousands of bombardments and lasers canons at the same time? Sure he seemed like a guy that laughs in the face of normal guns but huge bombardments and laser canons? |

It is a big leap in power, but the only beast who actually got hit with the bombardment was the turtle which is comparable in size to Zebra's horse. It's easily the biggest of the beasts, not to mention that turtle's are noted for being durable(their shell). Now, it was shown that the beast that Toriko fought against dodged whatever attacks were throw at him and the 2 other beasts weren't shown being hit either. All 4 beasts have a different skillset that is similar to the Heavenly King they are fighting. In short, we don't know if Toriko himself can survive getting hit by one of those bombarments. He probably can't, but we've seen quite often that Toriko and co. don't always win through raw power(knocking for example) and humans generally tend to be more intelligent fighters. |
