You're actually better off just starting the manga from chapter 1. The anime skipped over whole chapters from the manga and in its last few episodes it completely abandoned the manga material to do its own original content. Or so we thought... now with Chapter 36, things are quite that clear cut... <g> |

| but chapter 23 just covers the arc with the girl that also shares yuuko's name.. the anime ends with yuuko coming back, so...is 23 really where the anime splits off and starts its own story?.. |

I don't think so. Manga is very similar if it comes to main plot, in anime they skipped a lot of content, but not main plot. I read 7 volumes for now (I'm buying official Polish release) and there are events from anime FOR SURE. So anime is not ending with 5th volume. |
