Great to see YuruYuri and PapaKiki selling well :D

Great to see Mousretsu Pirates not dropping in sales. Hyopuka owned Nyaruko? WTF? And I wonder how Accel World doing(than would it come out?).

Papakiki is not selling well, though it held up a little better than I expected. About a 3.5k combined average. I would have anticipated worse but it stayed consistent.

Mouretsu increased first week BD sales again (3.7 > 5.3 > 6.3 > 6.5 > 6.8). Looks like King Records finally got enough copies printed for the first week. I bought two copies because fuck yeah Mouretsu. And Hyouka manages a third week. Not quite 10k, but 9.5k will do! Hopefully subsequent volumes can stay close to that.

Yuru Yuri♪♪ OP/ED sales really are an amazing increase over season one.

It's still basically a dead tie. Because of when Nyaruko-san was released, we don't have its third week of sales, while we have three weeks of Hyouka, but they'd be about the same.


It comes out not with next week's data, but the week after. It's looking like it might do at least 5k BDs, 1k DVDs. Not amazing but not awful.

Well if the sales go higher, which hopefully they will, maybe we can expect more OVAs and possibly a S2.
What I really want is more Mayoi Neko Overrun but that is like never going to happen considering the manga and novel are finished.

Let's watch as Kadokawa's 2 volume singles on a 20+ episode show strategy make Hyouka's sales suffer. It's what made Nichijou struggle.

As for Accel World, well it's not coming out until the end of the month, but going by Amazon Stalker, it should sell 5500+ on BD.

Yeah... or Moyashimon Returns or Dog Days' (it was available for a while, but is removed like the rest now) or KoiChoco or Utakoi. Sucks. I wonder if these two stupid companies are ever going to come to an agreement.

Bleh. So much for hoping it'd be the first sign pointing towards the end of their dispute. 6-7 months to go before Magi... >_<

I think Nyaruko and Hyouka have different potential. Yes, it has a probability to make Hyouka sales suffer, but if it could defend its sales on the first volume sales level of 7500+ , Hyouka total volumes sales would be good (100k+). Just wait and I hope the strategy would not backfire

Accel world would sell well but probably has a small chance to be a hit

I'm not so sure about Accel World...it was like in the top 100 for awhile then it dropped...it might sell less than STalker estimates.

Glad to see Hyouka on top. I wonder how further vols will sell, quality of Hyouka remained more or less the same while Nyaruko didn't deliver after great beginning...

Looking at the sales a sequel for Mouretsu Pirates seems likely though I guess the upcoming movie has priority.
