So I've noticed some shocking similarities between Digimon the Movie (our war game) and summer wars. I know they're both directed by the same people, but still I find it weird that nobody really brought attention to this. I guess it's not THAT important, but I still think it would be nice to have a little discussion about this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0CiEVMvtEY Personally, I think the director wanted to reuse the concept because the digimon movie was turned down by most people who weren't digimon fans. They were both great in my opinion. (On a side note, I thought the whole family issue with Summer Wars was a bit forced) |
