I thought it royally sucked. It was pretty much all about how wonderful Japan and the Japanese are. That's all the main character kept mouthing off about, that's all. The story and characters were just plain terrible. The art wasn't very good either, especially comparing it to Berserk.

Biggest beef with it, though, has to be the character Azuma. This was a nonstop Japan is wonderful parade and yet the guy looked like Jesus. WTF?

Ahahahahahahaha oh wow.

So deliciously fascist, they even let the symbol for peace to willingly give everything over to the incarantion of nationalism and violence, can it be more obvious? But unlike some iconic fascist propaganda, there's not even anything good with the presentation. It's all terrible.

How could this guy have written Sanctuary? It defies everything.

This manga was okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't a masterpiece either, and I thought it had a bit too much propaganda. Considering the authors, I expected something way better!

Fucking propaganda bullshit. I know, many of those machismo action mangaka are nationalists, but they normally have at least the decency to not make it THIS obvious.
In 9/10 cases, the worst thing about an anime is its fandom.
