I would rate this anime a 5/10.

Like many people mentioned, the pacing was way too slow. They could've easily reduced a few episodes; lots of scenes were dragged on. That wouldn't have been so irritating if there wasn't so much fighting and yelling.

I didn't like any of the characters. Every single one of them were annoying and very obnoxious. There was too much screaming; it reminded me of Dragonball, how they screamed so much prior to an already lengthy fight. I was surprised at how flat and oblivious the characters were to the surrounding situation. How can they continuously stay dubious when they've been teleported to a random room by a giant ball? Ridiculous.

The ending was wtf for me, too. I was hoping they'd tell us more about why these people were brought to the room (Surely, more people die. Throughout the world, too, not just in Japan) and what Gantz really was. "Oh, I get it. The more you kill, the more points you earn!" I thought that was very apparent from the start. From the looks of how the storyline is flowing, I doubt they'll give anymore clarification. Will not bother with the second season.

loved it, defiantly watching the next series, and then the manga! hmm 9/10?

The idea was good but there was too much talking and slow pacing. But the thing that annoid me the most was the whiny characters. They always start to shake and cry in stead of killing them aliens off like a boss.

Hmm! this episode made up for all those episodes I didn't care that much about. It was a good episode -the 1st and the 13th episodes were the best for me. I liked this one a lot. I think it had a lot of good action and violence in it and I also loved Kurono's guts: I'm not running anymore, I'm fighting! I love this type of personality and I hoped he'd do something of the sort once and for all.
I dislike the fact they are crying. I mean, too much crying for me, really.

I'm glad the kid and the granny died. They annoyed the hell out of me...

Also, the soundtrack, gosh! I loved it.
I'm going to watch the second series as well.

The anime's not bad, if I think about it, I just get the feeling it's kind of "incomplete", if I can say so. But the 13th episode was really, really good.

This season gets a 7/10 from me, but this episode however gets a 5/5! The animation was pretty decent, and it was very intense. Kurono did his thing as well, so things are definately looking up and I will go into the second season without hesitation!

Wasn't an all to bad anime tbh the pace was good the story was good and the art wasn't all to bad, though quite slow per episode the global story line was decent enough good that there is a second season or this would really not have a good ending!

From this first season I'd say 7/10 lets see if the second can do better!

Well, the boss fight was way better then the previous ones. The episode was one of the best this season. Looking forward to season 2.
