THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Oh man this way better than I though! The manga is nothing compared to this! Everything is much better that the manga pales compared to this. It is ecchi but the story is funny! Kemeko X Kobayashi forever! I root for those. Kemeko might not be nice but the girl who pilots her....MOE MOE MOE! The storyline is like in the manga except they explain things faster like with the nano ball.

I AM NOT SAYING MORE but there is ecchi/maybe nudes scenes, blood as well as good LOL AND ON TO THE HIGHLIGHTS:

Unforgettable shot in anime:

Kemeko VS Real Girl piloting it+Blood splatters+Izumi friend of Kobayashi.

CRAZY MECHA ACTION!

Nano ball!

Well, it looks like the anime adaption will be a fun watch too. The CG was nice, and I couldn't really find any flaws other than the OP and ED sequence (geh, not my type of music).

While I highly doubt they will be able to keep it up, many of the plot elements and the overall insane randomness of the series reminds me of FLCL. I will reserve judgment for a later episode, but so far pretty decent start.

I don't know how this pulled it off, but it managed to be both really stupid and surprisingly clever at the same time. Both the OP and ED had me laughing quite a bit and the show itself was a nice blend of fast paced action, fanservice, and random yet funny comedy. It may be yet another comedy series where only the first few episodes are any good, but at least for now it's off to a good start.
How the world will end: "There was something about a brightest day and a blackest night...bah, I'm sure the universe can defend itself."

Retarded. The only time I laughed was when the Kemeko pilot started freaking out and blood spurted from her side.

The "anything goes" universe makes it hard for me to really care about the story. A robot hand appears from nowhere, a weird robot girl appears from nowhere, the hand summons a giant weapon and Kemeko defeats it. Who cares.

Random and pretty funny, I'm sold for now.

Favourite part: The end with Kemeko offering rice in an erotic manner :)

Okay so that's the new To-Love-Ru with twice the crazyness and half of its animation quality?

Can't say I enjoyed this episode.

For me this series probably gets into the good series that came out this season, it made me laugh bigtime.

And then, for some reason, I was expecting the girl to be like a kid and not very attractive (after watching the picture in the series profile here in MAL), but I didn't even see it coming she being that proporcionate... hahah.

O.o

Interestingly, it's two comedies this season (Kemeko and Hyakko) that get 10s for first impressions from me.
My favorite part - oddly enough - is the suit the girl wears while inside Kemeko, the concealed holsters especially (tranc gun and 'bleed stopper' XD)
