| I love Tear's girly side ^^ Indignation is so cool. Do any of you know the japanese incantations? After researching, I found out that the sub(by Shinsen) is very close to the actual incantation of Indignation in the game. I've played the game twice so I can already predict what will happen but it's still interesting. The game was adapted very nicely. |
| i confess i was a little specticle about how this anime would play out,but im liking it so far.I turned into a total fangirl when Tear first used Nightmare in episode one and now we have what peaked my interest in the game debuting as early as episode 2. im looking forward to episode 3. |

Even your so-called awesome Code Geass was essentially a tragedy where the main character decides to right a wrong, fails/falls into wickedness, then "dies" atoning for his failure/sins. If you take out the details, plot points and plot twists, all anime shows fall into cliches. |

| I really got the feel that this was an RPG adaptation: hunting little, innocent creatures FTW. Luke's reaction to Mieu was just great. I'd hate it too if some uber-cute critter jumped in my face. Jade's name annoys me for some reason; maybe I feel slighted? I know someone who's internet name is Lyger; now I know what it comes from. |

| All I kept chanting while watching this episode was, "Jade." I said it a lot. At least, he is as much of an asshole as he is in the game. It's awesome! Anyways, this is meeting all my expectations. | Awwwwwwwwwhs, those cheagles were SO CUUUUTTEEEE, I was laughing every time Luke would be suprised at the talking, hell, I was really suprised too! Very adorable though, especially Tear! I thought she was blushing for/from Luke in the previews, but I'm still satisfied, hahaha. We got to meet that little bundle of joy Anise! So cute, and Mieu in general! I'm glad she's in the team, <3 & Ion, I swear that was a girl untill Tear mentioned "are you looking for him?" lol, woops. & I still "awh" everytime Luke blushes, I sweaaaar, he reminds of my little InuDogggg :3 the fact he's writing a diary was touching too, poor kiddo. | Fast?? What are you guys talking bout. You should go see TOA and TOS's anime ova's and you will see what fast is. These last two episodes have followed the game exactly. I am kind of amazed they decided to dedicate an entire episode involving the cheagles and the liger. Remember, he's the first boss of the game? lol Of course were introduced to some of the best characters in the series, Jade Kurtiss and fon master Ion, as well as Anise. But yeah i am really amazed at how they are adapting this, i figured they would kind of stray away from the game just a bit but its pretty much exactly what the game had. Even some of the Skits were involved in the anime which shown more of luke's personality. Honestly if they continue to adapt ever single thing from the game in this kind of pacing, i dont' see how its even possible to do the whole story line that way. You would probably need some where around 60 episodes at least. But im assuming they will probably skip certain parts that don't pertain to the story but so far everything has matched completely with the game. I also really love the music they are using in the series so far and yeah the animation is just spectacular. Watching these characters go from sprites to fully 3d visual anime characters is just awesome. I especially like Natalia from episode one I think they did an amazing job on her. Anyways things finally get busy in the next episode which also happens to be the next part in the games storyline as well. |

But tales of abyss does have a great story line with many unexpected plot twists, believe me if you don't care for those kind of cliche concepts in a story line, you still might like the series because it is unpredictable at certain parts. |
