| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This was great! I love seeing Shinchi at his proper age! I hope that they continue to solve cases even after he gets his normal body back. Man Shinchi really showed Megure what he's made of, I'm glad they showed us this. His first case and he did it with the usual style, like a boss... Man he's going to be in trouble with Kogoro when he shows up next haha.. |
| Finally a Shinichi case....we don't get enough of those even if they are flashbacks. I wish he had struggled more with the case because it was his first. I mean he can't be a genius out of the gate...but he is. |

| Love 1 hour specials, this one was good. Once again they have to have the double trap, make you think it's one person but that person only messed with the body, etc. Only sad thing is the motive, once again revenge, and they copied the same thing they used earlier. The guy who lit the fire in order to take pictures of the victims and win an award. Makes you really realize that it's about how they did it and not who and why. |

| This was an awesome case! So this was Shinichi's first case... nice! Also the ending was absolutely hilarious, I was laughing so hard, ahh that was brilliant! |

| Dam, I could've sworn it was gonna be her friend who was sitting next to her. I love how I can rewatch this series but still get tricked by red herrings xD Also loved the part at the end with Ran sleep talking and making it seem like Shinichi did something lewd to her when it was just related to the case lol. |

| This was a great case and special episode. I actually figured out a lot of the reasoning and the killer this time which doesn't always happen. Definitely need more Shinichi as he is really cool as a teen and it feels nice for him to actively be solving the case rather than constantly pretending. |
