Bascially, if you have downloaded the series or stream the series online, and you just finished an episode, will you watch the preview or just straight go into the next episodes, because it might spoil the next episodes like showing what will happen.

Thanks for sharing.

I pretty much always skip previews unless I am watching a series as it airs - in which case it can make a nice discussion point and make you look forward to the next episode.

Generally skip, because there's always a chance to spoil the next episode. And especially if the ED itself suck as well and/or that I have the next episode already.

I think people who watch ongoing episodes are more likely to spoil themselves with previews.

I skip the previews, regardless of if it's an airing series or not.

When I stop a marathon session I'll watch the preview. Other than that I usually skip.

I skip them for the most part, unless I want a sneak peek to decide if I want to watch the next episode at the time or later.

This.
Which is why sometimes I'm lost when people are discussing the next episode.

Eh, if the series is currently airing and I'm really interested to see what happens next, I'll watch the preview.

If it's a finished series I'm watching, I'll hit the next episode button, because I'm too lazy to see that small preview when I got the full 24 minute ep right in front of me.

Are those the only options? What if I'm watching on DVD or Blu-Ray?

Anyway, I do watch previews 99.99% of the time, whether it's a new/currently-airing series, an older series I have full access to, or even a series I've seen before. The only times I've skipped previews were in penultimate episodes of dramatic/suspenseful series where I wanted an absolute zero percent chance of spoilers, but I think I can count those exceptions on one hand. For everything else, I figure the previews are part of the show's content, and the writers/directors intended us to see that material ahead of time. Also, skipping to the next episode as soon as the ending begins is a good way to accidentally miss epilogue scenes between the ED and the preview, some of which may contain dramatic revelations that can leave you lost in the next episode.

And there're often little jokes or parodies within the previews, making them more worth watching. I've even looked forward to previews for their own merits, like the cryptically sparse previews of Touka Gettan, or the creepy/mysterious music in the Fantastic Children Previews. Though I doubt most around here have seen the FC previews, since they weren't in the TV airing subbed by mahou and the only rip of the R1 DVDs cut them out. Speaking of which, cutting out previews is a good way for release groups to get on my personal shitlist -- the decision to watch previews or not should be left up to the viewer, not made for them by groups like ACX looking to shave a few MB so that episodes can be encoded to outdated 1/3-CDR filesizes.

Nah, I'd rather jump right into the next episode, or if it's airing, I'll just wait to see what happens.

I used to skip but for some reason with my last two anime I've seen every preview. Depends on the anime thought.

Some of the previews can be pretty funny, so it depends. Tiger & Bunny is the only one I can think of at the moment.

Hello! Did you know? Barnacles have the largest penis to body size ratio of the animal kingdom.

After I experienced certain LotGH previews, I will never watch them again regardless of the anime's status.
