| That surprised me. I really didn't expect to like this series. I thought it was going to be another "magical girl falls into guy's lap, antics ensue" kind of thing, and while she DID kind of fall into the guys lap, this anime actually seems to have a halfway intriguing plot and the mood that the animation and pacing has set is interesting. If this keeps up, I think I may enjoy this one. |

So no, he's an Esper, if you go by the technical word, but his ability is unique among Espers, since it just negates everything without discrimination, be it magic, esper attacks, curses or even holy blessings.Got off to a good start I believe. | Great epiosde! I really enjoyed the epiosde so far. I lol'd at loli teacher so hard for no reason. This one goes to my top three this season. This show had a great potential. Index is VERY moe. |

| Wow, impressive ! I think it's impossible to make a better start than this episode. The story seems interesting, the characters are good, and the opening is a win (kinda Shana-esque^^) Index is <3 too ^^ |

| A bit slow, but liked it. The main char looks way too much like the main char in Kyou no Go no Ni. Will watch more to see more of Index. |

| I didn't really expect much from this series. It looked like just about every other magical anime. I'm glad I didn't pass it up though. This episode impressed me on so many levels. Loved the animation style, the op, the characters are interesting, and the storyline is promising. I just hope it doesn't all go down the tubes. |

| After watching Railgun and found it to be of my liking I thought it would be a good idea to watch the original. And after the first episode I must say things look bright. Good animation and interesting characters =) |

| Oh my, this episode was very awesome. Everything seemed to be very interesting. From the futuristic scenery, up to those powers and that Index girl. So, that guy has a nullifying powers in his right hand. Poor Index, her clothes got destroyed, lol. Also, I already love Index right after episode 1. She's very cute, so does her voice. Plus, that Misaka girl was also awesome. I guess she's the tsundere in this Anime, lol. :3 Last thing, is Index really dead? She got blood in her back. I doubt that she's dead but I hope she's fine. This has an interesting plot and I would stick myself with it because of it. |
| This first episode was interesting. I still don't get what the plot is, but I like the songs in both the opening and ending. In another note, what is with these animes and flat-chested girls? Anyway, the op reminds me of Shaku no Shana. It might be performed by the same artist. |

| I couldn't stop laughing when Touma goes outside to air out his futon and notices Index hanging out on the balcony but he thinks he has another futon airing out already. XD Wow, there is a loli teacher. HA, Touma made her cry. Interesting first episode, looking forward to the next :) Love the Opening. |

| Smooth animation, great voice acting, fast pace and uplifting music. Definitely loving it so far. The world in this anime seems a bit weird but I suppose I'll get used to it by the time everything's explained. Why is that teacher a little girl? |
