Wow, quite a number of fantasy fans in here. It's too cliche to say it, but LOTR trilogy. And between Warbreaker and Mistborn, I love the former more. Both had pretty unique worlds, I think Warbreaker was a bit more unique, but the beginning and end of Mistborn blew me away, completely. I'm eager to read Kingkiller series soon though. Feel so motivated to read after finally finishing the Harry Potter movies. Didn't shed a tear, but feels very devoid of literature. |

Legendre said: My favorite of all time is probably The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan Completely agree with this, I've been reading it for about 8 years, can't wait for the last book to finally come out. Also like: any Matthew Reilly book Any Brandon Sanderson book (including his Wheel of Time books) Ender series by Orson Scott Card Any Clive Barker book, in particular Weaveworld or the Abarat series Animorphs Tomorrow When The War Began series, by John Marsden. |

Love the Kingkiller Chronicle. I also really enjoyed the Sprawl trilogy, (Beginning with Neuromancer) as well as the Hyperion Cantos, LOTR, Elric de Melinbone, Foundation, Malazan Book of the Fallen, The Sword of Shannara, and American Gods. Then there's Dune, but I think everyone knows about that haha. Anyways my favorite atm is definitely Kingkiller Chronicle, it is just so great. |

Hyperion Cantos A Song of Ice and Fire Two of my faves. Uterus complications to feed the whales. Twisting islands of concrete and yaks keep the negative space alive. Ever growing pizza party of gerbils with rabies. Connect the pimples into the pine tree that you always wanted as a pet. Dogs made of ground horse meat walk the streets. Bestiality meat fucking. Clowns in cars with yarn and riddles. Drink the sand it's friendly. But those who build planes will surely know where the medicine is contained. The squid's corneas quiver to the sight of you. Eggplant gymnastics where's the panties? They're with the panda who loves licking ladders. ~The sign of MAL's death |
