Surume :P From the start I knew that he will betray hordy and help Luffy, because even the Kraken Knows that Luffy is much stronger than Hordy Even thought the fighting has began I still want to see real fight between the crew and The New Fishmen Pirates. I wondering if Sunny's channels 4 and 5 can ride on water, if they do, I'll kiss my screen xD |

IT'S HIM.IT'S COMMANDER CHOPPER...*SHEDS A TEAR* Ok so this episode was so epic in so many ways xD.Every single member of strawhats didn't change at all XD i mean their strenght maybe did, they got more serious too...but inside they are still same XD. LOL at Luffy running after Chopper and just ignoring all the fight + Zoro reaction xD. 5/5 i can't wait to see Luffy kicking Hordys ass.  |

I couldn't help but watch with a massive grin on my face; seeing Franky and his new weapons. That being said I really don't like the hordy jones stuff. Ugh can we just forget he exist...? |

Funny ep and yeah Brooks Fantasia was abit long Dx, and wow with Robin's version giganta stomp xD I bet she could make a whole human body if she wanted to. Hopefully we'll finally see some retaliation from Hordy as they should know by now that their army is pretty much dead~  |

They've slowed down <i>so</i> much... I believe about 1/2 of chapter 635 was covered. Nevertheless, Commander Chopper was adorable. ^^ I died at Brook's "Okay, I cut you already." even though his bit was dragged out a lot. Surume betraying Hordy made me grin. But I <i>loved</i> Luffy running beside Brachio Tank the most. Gah...need more already! |

Well here's the thing. We've started the second half now and I get that this arc is to show off the training that the Strawhats have been through these last two years. However, for the big second half this Fishman Island arc still feels really small. Part of the problem is the pacing of the anime, they don't want to catch up to the manga so it's only one chapter per episode so it's gone on longer than it should. When the arc started it was cool because we got some good history for Fishman Island, the story of Fisher Tiger and Queen Otohime was very touching and actually had a point so all of that was really good. What is dragging the arc down is the major bad guy, he's not a threat at all. With their training the Strawhats can take him down with little or no effort. So while the fight is going on it just feels like stalling. I think the anime did Hordy a pretty big disservice early on in the arc when he got one shot defeated by Zorro underwater, underwater where fishmen are supposed to be at their strongest. Now it's true Hordy has had a power up but he's still no threat to Luffy, he doesn't have a devil's fruit power or even Haki so he can't hurt Luffy at all. So when we have episodes with Hordy going on about how he is going to take over the world because fishmen are superior to humans it feels like such a joke and I feel kind of sorry for the delusional bastard because any of the navy admirals could destroy Hordy while barely lifting a finger. All that being said it's still One Piece. It's awesome to see the fruits of everyone's training and it is succeeding in showing how much stronger the crew has gotten but we're in the second half now. This is the New World and I want to see how badass it is. This arc would have been better if it had been shorter but I understand the reasons for the slow pacing. This arc did do some impressive things and it does have a strong message so I don't dislike it but in the terms of OP it is much weaker than the last four or five arcs preceeding it. I love it because it's OP and it's still better than the majority of the anime out there but this arc is far from being my favorite.  |
