Seiyu Ohara Sayaka announced on her official website that she will take one month leave from work due to the polyp and nodule on her vocal cords. She will have a surgery to remove the lesions. She said the surgery won't affect the currently running anime.

I can't help but take this as a bad sign for Fairy Tail not continuing past summer... Good to hear she won't miss episodes on other series shes working on though. I guess they're all already finished being made.

A vocal cord surgery for a VA must be their worst nightmare. Hope she recovers to her 100% self.

But, Fairy Tail is also a currently running anime.
