I prefer newer art styles but sometimes I don't mind old art styles like Dragonball but something like Sailor Moon I don't really like. But it just depends because there's many different types of art styles |

Well it all depends. Some "new" anime take on the oldish art styles while old ones can have a different style as well. Each anime varies, some New anime style sucks and some old styles suck as well, its just how the artist decides how to draw. .-. ![]() |

I prefer the art of today, but that's biased because I have only started regularly watching anime as of a couple years ago. For example, Hunter x Hunter vs Hunter x Hunter (2011) (remake) After being exposed to everything in recent years, it's really hard for me to watch an older anime. The only ones that i am able to watch now is the ones that I've already seen, but as for starting a new series it's hard for me to do....I just love the "newer" age of animation so much more. ![]() |

New, old......? I don't know the style changes depending on the company doesn't it? I do know I don't like the art of Kimi no Toke....whatever that anime is called and it took me a while to get use to Bokura ga ita's art. But I do enjoy the art of Story of Saiunkoku so for me it depends on the company I guess. I do know I hate the earlier art from the nineteen nineties like Astro Boy, Yu Yu is the only nineties anime I enjoy til this day. ![]() |
