Allright, ive been using this site for a considerable amount of time now pretty much every day and have just never made an account (It takes a lot to stop me from lurking on a site =p). Anyways I started having obnoxious add banners on this site that block some of the hyperlinks at the top ~ a month ago, and now tonight I also am getting javascript void when trying to do advanced searches. Im assuming the void error is already being worked on but the adds are extremely irritating.

I really do like this site... as a lurker my first reaction was to just start using another site to search for new anime to watch, but none of them have the same feel and I can't for the life of me bring myself to use their search engines. So i found myself back here trying to frantically click the advanced search button until it worked while trying to ignore the large add encroaching on my precious advanced search button!

I would really appreciate any help on this I can get!
IE9
as far as i know everything is up to date. java included.

Here is both my problems all in one beautiful screenshot (void shows up in bottom left as a link when I hover over the advanced search, and clicking advanced search does nothing)~

Allright, ty for the responses... this is rather amusing but I can't even reply or quote a response due to javascript Lol. Anyways im going to do a full uninstall/reinstall of javascript this afternoon, and I guess I will try out a different browser. My javascript is enabled in security settings and oddly enough this is the only site I seem to have issues with it on ><

When i click advanced search, it makes absolutly no attempt to change the page or follow a link. Btw is there a url for advanced search I could use to just bypass the hyperlink?

I sent you a message Luna_ but i have no idea wether it went through LOL

My best suggestion?

Don't use IE, of any form, of any version. IE is and will be the terror of the Internet, at least until the IE10 which will be used in Windows 8.
Try Chrome or FireFox, with the AdBlock (a plugin) included, which can help you get rid of those ads.

The banner problem reminds me of the problem we had two months ago but this was solved some days later. I tried it myself now with IE9 and I don't have this problem, the banners are positioned correctly and there is no overlap.

There's nothing wrong with javascript:void(0) as such. It replaces the reference for some links (for example the advanced search link) and just prevents your browser from reloading the page. That's why you always see it when hovering over such a link.

What exactly happens when you click advance search?

As I said, I tested everything with IE9 and everything works like it should do. So I assume it has to do with your javascript version or the javascript settings in the browser. I stopped using IE years ago so I have no idea what to do. Maybe you can try changing some settings and see if the problem can be solved. I don't want to just way "switch to a better browser", but I highly recommend it. IE still has many problems.
