According to Comic Natalie, a new Sailor Moon was announced at Japan Expo 2012 being held in Paris. The new anime is planned to be released in the summer of 2013. I was DANCING when I heard this. DANCING. I'm glad Toei will be doing it. Not sure how I feel about, "The new series is like a "power up" over the original - a retelling of the series targeted at older fans".  |

I wonder if Ikuhara will be part of it once more. I honestly had no idea Sailor Moon had yuri elements nor that it wasn't just another magical girl show while I watched the show as a kid. I think I'd love to see that now, especially since it's supposed to target older audiences. |
