Totally lived up to my expectations for the first episode--hopefully it will just keep getting stronger. In my next life I want to collide at the corner with the cute transfer student carrying a piece of toast in her mouth......rodac Must...not...feed...trolls.... |

It was ok. Nothing really jumps out at you and makes you think, "this is going to be great." though. I predict I will give it at least a 6/10. Modified by Leondre, 07-06-12, 12:39 AM |

This seems to be a good romance anime. I haven't seen a jousei anime in quite a while. Hazuki. Seems a bit pathetic, but I like him so far. Looking forward to more. 5/5 |

While the OP appeals to me, it's the ED that I just adore. The moving frame and the singer's voice are just lovely. What stood out to me was the superb voice acting which is more important in this particular genre than anything else in order to convey the characters' mood. Also, that's how I like my romances: no meandering around and with actual focus on development. |

Averim said: First ep was not quite as captivating as i anticipated, but im still having high hopes for this. I agree but it had it moments and was still very cute for a first episode. ![]() |

I've been waiting for this since I first picked up the scanlation several months ago. It's a story that I fell in love with after just reading the first chapter. The first episode did not disappoint. It's wonderful seeing the characters in motion and their designs are absolutely flawless. Hazuki is HOT! ![]() |

I'm glad I was looking forward to this since it is even better than I thought it could be. With all that nice feeling of feelings as they swirl around and people who don't just freak out at the big shifts to occur. There's thought put into it even with how soon it felt like the confession came. ![]() |

Ridiculous how easily this takes the pole position amongst the summer series. I've seen the episode three times already, and could probably go for more. As you can probably tell, I'm loving this, it just does all the things right. Well-rounded characters, the details (the nervous Hazuki being greeted by the usual Rokka, and how he exhales in relief etc.), nice animation, realistic interactions and reactions and of course, a couple of charming leads. And oh, they're actual adults for a change! I couldn't have asked for more. |

This show has the potential of being the best show of the season. A confession after the first episode?! IMPOSSIBRU! This already beats Kaoru in Sakamichi no Apollon. I already can't wait how the weird love triangle of man-women-dead husband is going to develop. Looks like I'm not the only one who loved the ED song by Aimer. She's freaking awesome. |

As far as first-episode judgments go, this is the best show this season so far. (Not like there's much competition.) The genre mixture is win. Video rants & stuff: NEW! Review: Evangelion 3.0: You Can (Not) Redo... THIS MOVIE. | DraconisMarch Video Club ![]() ![]() |
