Won'T happen though. On second thought, make that 400+ Modified by grandy_UiD, 07-06-12, 3:12 AM |

Hmmm i'm not sure what to think of this. On one hand there's literaly nothing i'd like more in life than to watch my favorite jjba fights animated. On the other hand i feel kinda bad about all the people who aren't gonna read the manga because they'll watch the anime instead. I mean even if the anime does an amazing job it's still not gonna have that charm of the manga (wich btw is probably my favorite ever). Maybe i'm just being silly but all those posts in this thread of people saying they've heard of the series but never checked it out and are gonna watch it now... It makes me kinda sad... for them i guess. Maybe i should just stop worrying and enjoy myself. i just really want more people to read jjba. I guess the anime will help that kinda but it's a double edged sword. |

The reason they making the anime is they wanna push the manga sales >_> Naruto, one piece and bleach was very popular is more or less because the anime. You should happy if the anime gonna very popular, because its means the manga gonna got popular too, people will read it, the manga gonna got licensed in multiple country, etc. ![]() |

If anything, the anime will drive far, far more people to pick up the manga than would have otherwise. As fertygo alluded, that's pretty much the point of why the anime is being made. Now that part of the cast (and therefore the characters) are announced it's official that it's going to be Part 1. Personally I'm totally okay with this. Sure it's not the best part since Araki basically didn't have his own style back then but this IS where it all started. It has a charm of it's own. It also makes sense from a production point of view, since it's by far the shortest part and can easily be covered in probaly 13 episodes. I'm still afraid that this is going to be all we get. I highly doubt that they will adapt the whole series. Because who would start another 300+ episodes show nowadays? :( |

Actually even two, if you include the Phantom Blood movie. (even three if you consider the part 3 adaption was done in two parts) Even if it wasn't that great, it still count. |
