| I loved the first episode~ Really, I like cooking... but baking is so much fun too! And fun to watch, so I hope to see a lot more baking in this series. :D It seems like it'll be a fun watch~ |
| the sun hands things is farfetched and unnecessary and it seems a bit early for a contest, but I'll keep watching anyway. if only 1 of them can make it, it seems a bit odd to introduce 3 new people, unless this contest is going to take way longer than it should at this stage in the series. unless of course he loses, but given the pic on the main page, I doubt that will happen. |

| I 1st saw this when it was 1st aired but ignored it so many times. Since I'm in the country who don't eat rice for a living... this made me want to watch this series.. I'm going back to classic anime style, and it's promising indeed The expression after hearing the definition of Ferment.. hehe so cute |

| Bread and rice are equally great imo :P And so was this episode. I was expecting many familiar tropes, but this went full battle shounen-esque quickly and it's right up my alley. Solid backstory and I like the concept of creating breads unique to Japan. The comedy is also nice and of course we got foodgasm xD Now I'm hyped for the exam. Kazuma has his solar hands, but others gotta have some skills too. |

| Pretty good first episode, that ojii-chan was hilarious. Unfortunately he probably won't appear that often, but I hope the other characters will be fun to watch as well. |
