I have noticed that the highest score I gave to an anime which I watched on a weekly basis (it was airing) is 8 and that anime is Fate Zero S2. When I marathon anime, that anime tends to have a higher score. Does anyone experienced this too? P.S - Sorry if my English is bad xD |

Not at all my rating is judged by my opinion of the show finished fast or not I incorporate the key elements a anime must have for me to give it a certain score, and if it doesn't I drop the score down accordingly. ![]() |

It makes sense. For me if I marathon series it must mean that I liked something enough to go further than my usual 2 episode per day routine. So it has to be good. |

I've always watched completed anime, so when I watch them, the more interesting they are, the faster I tend to watch them. If they aren't as interesting, I'll usually take longer to finish it, so yes, I experience it too. "Our everyday lives may, in fact, be a series of miracles." - Nichijou |

Nope. For me I marathon everything I watch unless it's currently airing. I rate based on enjoyment. If something took me more than a few days to marathon it wouldn't matter as long as I had a good time watching it. Whether I take my time watching a show or if it takes weeks ( like shows currently airing ) it wouldn't matter. |

No. Although series I like I tend to marathon, while series I don't find as special I watch fewer epsidoes daily. |

Yeah, it does for me. I honestly don't know why, but I usually don't watch more than 1 or maybe 2 episodes of a certain series a day. If I get through a series too fast (like in say, two or three days) then I feel like I didn't get to appreciate it enough and it just raced by. Some series on my watching list have been there for months and they're only 12-25 episodes. Maybe I feel like I need to watch them slowly, or maybe I'm just a slow watcher myself. Either way, I don't like watching things that I see for one day and then mark as "completed" forever after that (excluding movies). |

No. I only watch anime when I have time and sometimes I just don't have time. That being said some anime I watch for months and some I watch in a few hours. Although, if an anime is not interesting I am more likely to catch it if I am watching it over a long period of time. |

Nope. My highest rated anime is one took me about a month to watch. In fact I get more attached to characters in an anime if I take my time watching it instead of marathoning. ![]() |

Instinctively, I say no, but let me check: Madoka is my favorite - it took 6 days. I gave Clannad a 10 just like Madoka, and it took 20 days. Not much of a difference. Soul Eater is something that I really enjoy and yet it's been 111 days since I started and I'm only 21/51 episodes in. I will definitely finish it one day. So no, it doesn't matter. I just gave four series that I watched as they were airing 10s, so that doesn't matter either. I just take my time with some series, and I very very rarely marathon anything, not to mention the fact that I watch like 10 completed series and 15 airing series at a time. There's no way I could complete everything I watch in a timely manner. |

Yeah i guess the faster i watch it the higher i rate it, but i guess thats most likely due to the fact that i wanted to keep watching that anime so quickly because i really enjoyed each episode and wanted to keep going. |

Nope. Whether I wait for a new ep weekly or marathon the anime does not change the content of each episode or if I will like it or not. I actually prefer to wait for the eps weekly instead of marathon because it makes me wonder what will happen next. I do not watch previews either because those sometimes spoil me. |

I usually rate a series 3 days after watching or after picking up another series. It tends to take away the hype from marathoning a series. As a child, I was told that society is a melting pot of talents; knowledge and experience combined to form important alloys that will contribute to mankind. When I got to highschool, however, I thought that it's more like a river in which the water represents our peers while we ourselves are the stones in the river. Constant erosion by mindless majority sheeping has made us lose our unique edge. After I hit the age of 18, I realized that I've been wrong all along. Society is no melting pot. Society is no river. Society is a person, a very skilled rapist, and he has fucked us all. |

Yep I usually rate soon after viewing but a lot of times I end up having to go back and rate it down as I go a little overboard after marathoning. Especially since I rate mostly by the amount of enjoyment I've gotten out of a series, with things like art, soundtrack, and animation only taken in to consideration when it's either very good or not good at all. |

Well, If I took the time to marathon a series, then I'd obviously have a much higher rating towards it compared to series that I was perfectly fine with slowly watching it. |

Doesn't matter to me. However my ratings for anime I marathon are far more likely to change compared to when I watch something in a slow pace. School days took time to sink in, so that went from 7>9. And anime that gave me a good rush or ended on a high note might drop after the initial thrill wears off. |
