| Yeah I liked Mouretsu at first, but it never took itself seriously and it was filled with boring episodes with the yacht club (who I could care less about), supposedly it gets better but after half the series it FINALLY got serious? I'm not sure I'll watch, though I loved the director's other series (Lagrange) a lot more and didn't have the same problems Pirates had. |

| this brings me great joy! mouretsu pirates was a show i initially thought would be very mediocre, but it quickly grew on me - a great pirates-in-space sci-fi adventure story with amazing characters and humor - can't wait! |
