It made more sense for it to end that way with how it was built up. I may not think the ending was great but not for the reasons others stated. FMA(Original) Left me with an empty and unsatisfying feeling in the end.(Thank God for Brotherhood.) Chrno Crusade even though it would have been cheesy any other way the ending was a big fuck you in the face. Nyan Koi! Leaves me with a fucking open ending expecting another season and advertises a season 2 for a good deal of the show only for a season 2 never to be made. and Clannad, I didn't exactly loathe it but it was just ehh...Guess I have a more neutral standpoint. (Not going to get into detail want to stay out of this God forbidden long ass Clannad Spoiler arguement.)  It's easy to compliment someone that you'll never envy, but even easier to try and tear down someone who's better than you. |

Code Geass .. it`s one of the best anime shows I`ve ever seen. The ending is unique, especially at scene of the protagonist`s (Lelouch) death, it might be the only anime I`ve ever seen end like that. But it`s kind of frustrating and depressing that the hero died and another person take over his position as the savior of Japan and the real hero passed on as villain. Not to mention that the anime`s producers proclaimed that there`s no third season for the series :( .. |

Angel Beats? Katanagatari? Hoshizora? You people make me want to cry. I thought the endings were great in those series. I can't think of another way they could end those shows. |
