THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So is it a different reality? Or a different place in time? And why are they calling her Shirakiin-sama? I think that the fox turned it into a different reality but failed to completely wipe her memory so she remembered sorinozuka. But what will happen to this reality? |

I think what happened was that they were all reincarnated, but because of the strength of their bonds, they were able to remember bits and pieces of their past memories. It actually made me really sad when Miketsukami called Ririchiyo "Shirakiin-sama" rather than by her first name. It just felt...wrong I guess. Also, I miss Karuta. I hope that we get to see her soon! |

I think the girl with the short hair is Karuta. How many years has it been? Renshou looks exactly the same. (◕ᴥ◕し) Hello! Did you know? I don't understand anything thats happening! All that I get is that there reincarnated and somehow that guy and Natsume are still alive or something! Please, somebody explain to me the situation. On the other hand, it was really epic that they left it off there! With her saying "Your... DIFFERENT!" xD But poor Miketsukami-kun... I hope he remembers D: When I read this I figured it out :3 *spoiler alert* Sorry for the wall of text but when you read this, I can guarantee you everything will click and that you will understand everything that's going on Just to clarify things, those 18 chapters were an introductory prologue to a vast plot line which Miketsukami identified as "Riricho's Destiny". The next volumes/chapters consists of themselves reincarnated in the future hence the closing quote "This is the story of a long, long period of time." From the raw preview at the end of the chapter, the residents of the mansion are wearing different clothes and have a couple of different physical feautures(Zange's longer fringe, his top hat; Miketsukami's SS uniform(different from the one from the 1st chapter). Their reincarnated selves seem to not have any memory of what happened to their past selves; EXCEPT for Riricho having a deja-vu kind-of-flashback of her time with Miketsukami after seeing him for the first time in their next life. I'm assuming that Zange remembers too because that guy is shady as hell. Also, I'm inferring- no I'm positive that Zange is an SS for that new big-breasted girl. Watanuki/Karuta/the dark skinned guy aren't there so like explained in the prologue, they might have been reincarnated as a whole new different person OR they just haven't been shown yet. As for the incoming story, they're reincarnated into the future, they don't remember their past selves but when they find that time capsule that they buried, I'm positive they will. Riricho's destiny which hasn't been revealed yet but will unfold on this arc/story/whatever. The evidence that this is a prologue(besides the fact that they said it is) is that it has been told in a narrative tone in crucial points in the story AND is clarified that it IS a narrative at the end of chapter 18 when it's revealed that this prologue is "Miketsukami's records(His little journal) of the events that ensued in their past life. This manga is deeper in plot than I thought. I'm assuming that the next arc/story/whatever will become less love-comedy-gag like and become darker/emotionally-distressing and be more of a battle manga-ish perhaps? Hope this helped :D |

I am so lost! this chapter gave me the impression that they're all still alive and Ririchiyo's dreaming or something, but after reading all the above comments, I don't know what to think now. I liked the way the chapter ended though. Nice and cliffie-like. |
