Regarding the name: The Japanese is ユーフロジーヌ. When I google that, most references are to this novel in some way. I don't know if Jufrosine is dtshyk's own romanization or an official one. However I get a hit on Japanese Wikipedia for ユーフロジーヌ in reference to this man's wife, whose name is spelled Euphrosyne. It's a Greek name, and the name of one of the Three Graces. It's also a genus of flower. While not strictly Italian, she doesn't *have* to have a traditionally Italian name. I'm guessing Euphrosyne is what was intended.
