Hey guys I am looking for anime characters similar to Natsume Yuujinchou. What I am looking for is NOT the ability to see ghosts, but I am looking for animes that have a similar if not almost exact copy of the main character in personality type. Please take note as I said main character, I do not wish to watch an anime where he isn't the main focus. So basically I am looking for the silent and cool character that has a sad past and also possibly a sad present. But then bonds or something along this line of development changing him, whether it be slow or fast doesn't matter. Similar Animes and Characters from that anime Ghost Hunt - Naru (Lin) Ghost Hound - Tarou Shinrei Tantei Yakumo - Yakumo and a few others I just can't seem to remember. ![]() |

Try Mushishi. Similar character. Similar topic. Totally different all the way around but Master Keaton might be worth looking into. Character is cool, clam, collected, super smart, kind and, for lack of a better word, humble. Modified by lisnoire, 06-25-12, 4:54 AM -animeS - The plural of anime is anime. VERY different than Natsume Yuujinchou, but Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin has a fair quantity of what you are looking for. So does Ruroun Kenshin, Tsuiokuhen in particular. -animeS - The plural of anime is anime. More than one deer is still deer. Hmm... Zettai Shounen, perhaps? I don't really know, I have only seen one season of Natsume, but I would say that it's worth a shot. He's not that cool though, but he is the quiet type and comes out of his shell in the second half (post-timeskip) And Gungrave has Brandon Heat. He's pretty cool with a sad past, and is very quiet. It's not much like those other anime you mentioned, though, and the story revolves around the relationship between him and Harry. Oh, you may have already seen it since you have tried Mushishi and Master Keaton, but Kino no Tabi as well. Yes, I know about Kino's gender, but she could easily pass for a boy, and is also cool and quiet. Also, fill your list up, so that we know what you have seen. Modified by FOE-tan, 06-25-12, 4:13 PM |
