Hey! I threw a few posts out there without a clue what I'm doing before stumbling across this Thread. The last Anime I watched was "Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai" I'm fascinated by beautiful Voice/Drawn Anime girls.. but have no interest in nudity in my Anime what so ever, but I wouldn't dismiss an Anime cause a little of it is in there for those of you who love it! Most of all I love Romance between people who tease each other and fight, often hinted by a bit of jealousy or something!! I constantly watch random Comedy/Romance in hope I find this kind of content. for e.g: Lucky Star K-On! School Rumble Ore no Imoto Haruhi so i'm looking for a strong character build of 2 enemy/rival type characters, 2 girls or girl+boy. suspense till the end of the series with them proving their love towards eachother in one way or another. Any recommendations appreciated!! Thanks :D ps: generally, I'm not a fan of the the serious Animes, Mecha and Samurai.. but i'm open to try it if you're fairly sure i can look past it. I hope to really get involved with the forum as Anime has been the only thing on my mind the last few months. before that all I watched was the general kids TV Anime in England. censored Dragon Ball Z and repeated episodes of pokemon. haha! Thanks in advance. ![]() |

I suggest Yuru Yuri, it has a few relationships like that, it has a lot of comedy and anime references, very light shoujo-ai ![]() |

Thanks <3 HauntingShock said: Zero no Tsukaima After a quick look at this Anime, the cover looks great, but I'm reading uncensored. heh.. I really want clean Anime, even if I was to get the censored version, I can see the plot being a very Hentai like. but ofc, you'd know best. you've watched it after all. :P what do you think? Any more? thanks! ![]() |

I am seconding Zero no Tsukaima - It has quite a bit of comedy mixed in with romance. There really is not much ecchi in it as you think. Overall i thought it was pretty clean. Kaichou wa Maid-sama! - This one really fits what you are looking for. It has a lot of comedy and the guy is constantly teasing the girl. The romance gets along through the series and I think you would really like it. B Gata H Kei - This one may sound a bit weird, but it really doesn't have to much ecchi in it. The only reason im recommending it is because it is extremely hilarious. Toradora - This one is a school romance/comedy. There is a reason for its high ratings and you might like it. Kimi ni Todoke - Another school romance. This one doesnt have as much comedy as Toradora but it is still really good. |

I definitely have to suggest Lovely Complex. The relationship between Risa and Otani is just like that. They don't even like each other at first, they're constantly teasing one another; but a slow romance develops. It's my favorite rom/com. You should check it out, after the first few eps you might find yourself really enjoying it :D ![]() |

Toradora, Zero no Tsukaima. They are similiar shows with different settings. Both are comedy romance anime with a tsundere main character. Toradora is safer, while Zero no Tsukaima is a bit ecchi but since you are okay with OreImo I think you should be okay with Zero no Tsukaima also. The Game. |

I'll definitely try this one as it's been recommended a few times now. I got the Dual-Audio last night, how's the DUB for Zero no Tsukaima? Kaichou wa Maid-sama! - This one really fits what you are looking for. It has a lot of comedy and the guy is constantly teasing the girl. The romance gets along through the series and I think you would really like it. I'd be an idiot not to try this one, from first glance at google images, the drawings are really not my style.. then I saw this! lol! I'm excited for this one! EEEEEE! B Gata H Kei - This one may sound a bit weird, but it really doesn't have to much ecchi in it. The only reason im recommending it is because it is extremely hilarious. These drawings. the main character looks like Yui from K-On.. she just appears Klutsy ♥.♥ Toradora - This one is a school romance/comedy. There is a reason for its high ratings and you might like it. Again sweet drawings, all the girls look adorable, specially the one with the red hair! cute! i'll give it a go. Kimi ni Todoke - Another school romance. This one doesnt have as much comedy as Toradora but it is still really good. I'm not going to completely dismiss it, it's just the art style + lack of comedy has put this at the bottom of the list of your recommendations, i'll put them all on PTW thanks so much :D I'm going to be busy for a while. sleepyrebel said: I definitely have to suggest Lovely Complex. Well I think Oreno had very little in it, the worst thing that happened was HauntingShock said: Uncensored? Never watched it...I even don't know there was one...maybe you're just not used to watching ecchi types so you thought its uncensored ;) I just googled it and found a uncensored download, perhaps all it meant was it wasn't fit for US/UK TV. even Naruto and Dragon Ball Z has a clean version over here.. :) Modified by ivansego, 06-25-12, 1:45 AM ![]() |

Well apart from what's already been mentioned, I'd recommend Bakemonogatari, where the two main couple constantly verbally abuse each other, although romance is more of a sub-plot here. I'd love to say Mawaru Penguindrum, because it's one of my all time favorites, but the romance really is just a very small aspect of the show. But it's definitely what you've described. Skip Beat ... meh, lots of people seem to enjoy it, although I'm not a particularly big fan. The relationship between Shou and Kyouko is a bit like that. If you don't mind the Mahou Shoujo genre, Ikuto and Amu are one of my favorite pairings, and he teases her in a similar way as Usui and Misaki. I have to disagree with the majority of the people here on ZnT. It's a story about a girl who both physically and verbally constantly abuses the person she likes for way too many episodes, while the guy is being constantly surrounded by characters who serve as nothing more than a walking pair of breasts. Louise is the most irritating tsundere out there, but in many aspects she does seem to be what you're looking for - childish, jealous, stubborn and abusive. The art is also really bad, but that might be just a personal preference, but there's definitely a lack of detail in the background. |

A-Channel (similar to Lucky Star and K-ON!; Tooru and Run seem to be more than friends) Acchi Kocchi (looks like Lucky Star; one character is in love with another and gets constantly teased for it) Arakawa under the Bridge (the two main characters are not only in love, but are in a relationship – though a bit of an awkward one. The girls has at least one rival, who tries every trick in the book to win her over) Angel Beats! (a mix of comedy and action with a supernatural element to it. Quite similar to Haruhi [one of the main girls even looks like her]. One girls fights a lot with a guy, of whom we later know she is actually in love with). Gosick (drama and mystery, with some comedic elements. The MCs like each other a lot, even though the main girl will only occasionally show signs that she likes the main guy as well). Haiyore! Nyaruko-san (main girl is heavily in love with main guy and tries everything to win him over. His only problem that prevents him from loving her back: she's a Lovecraftian monster in disguise and he knows it). Hayate no Gotoku! (main guy has several girls pining for him. Main girl is easy to upset and gets into fights with him quite easily). Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (otaku girl loves main guy and the feeling is quite mutual. Show is full of misunderstandings and other romantic hijinks). Bonus for featuring Mamiko Noto, who has one of the most beautiful voices ever to grace a seiyuu. Seitokai no Ichizon (main guy declares his love for the 4 main girls. And every one of them treat him like dirt, though some more than others). Maybe you won't like all of them, but give them a try anyway. |

These 3 look really great, I'm going to have to try Angel Beats! as I really enjoyed "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu also looks very tempting, but by the look of some of the google images it's a censored hentai and the drawings look very stereo typical. I think i'm going to draw the line for this one. but thank you so much for the recommendations guys. I'm new to Forums all together. would someone mind telling me how to close threads? LOL :$ ![]() |
