I'm looking for an anime that's like bleach & dragonball z, where its kind of old school with the sword fights and hand-to-hand combat with powerups just like those two animes. I don't really like the new age robot stuff like Gundam, and stuff like that. Any suggestions? Please & thanks :)
& Don't suggest naruto please, because, i like to see the "aura" that's around the body & stuff like that.

Durarara!!-One guy trows vending machines at another guy.(Awesome anime)
Full Metal Panic!-more army-like.modern guns and such.
InuYasha- feudal japan fantasy fights(plus romance).
Sunabouzu- Guns.
Nabari no Ou- ninja but not like naruto.

These are all good animes.Don't want to watch em'?Don't.But they all rule just so you know.

Though they're newer anime, you might want to check out Brave 10 and Fairy Tail also.

Seconding One Piece. Don't let the bad art at the beginning of the anime repel you from watching it. You might think that after 500+ episodes, it's bound to get repetitive and dull. Well, its far from that. Just watch the first 20 episodes or so, I guarantee you'll slowly come to love it. One Piece is one of the few gems that actually gets better as it progresses.

Also, since you seem to like DBZ. I wanted to add that Oda, the author of One Piece, was influenced by DBZ so you might see similarities between the two.
