What? OP has only kept getting better overall, certain arcs drag that is true but the overall story isn't dragging at all, and there is still so much to do. You say Oda is blinded by money but it's pretty clear the series has been well thought out, he certainly isn't pulling shit out of his ass to extend the show like Bleach. Heck you yourself even have it rated as a 9. Not really sure where you are coming from with any of that.

If the more and more boring thing is because of Fishman Island then all i have to say is the arc after it has been great so far.

Happy and sad to hear that Naruto will be ending. I'll be waiting for this "more exciting" part of the story. That whole ninja war arc was a let down.

I'm just hoping the manga doesn't end up like Mahou Sensei Negima! Impress me, Kishi.

I loved that manga but that ending....

It was like being a proud dad seeing his daughter graduate from university with a first class medical degree only to be informed she was going to be a stripper...

I love Naruto but this War's been extremley lame. The fact that Madara hasn't managed to kill at least one of the Kage's is ridiculous. I mean really, he's got an immortal body now and each of his attacks blow up mountains. Barely anyone's died during this whole war although the odds were supposedly hugely against them. Glad it's coming to an end but really hoping Sauske doesn't chicken out of his fight with Naruto. This whole soul searching journey he's going on just seems like a way to stretch things out even more.

Oh, for fucks sake. Why would you stretch this boring arc out for over another year? Only the endfight and the bullshit plot with Sasuke is left. How is that enough for 60 chapters? This will be more drawn out than the final fight against Naraku...

I read the article on Sayian Island (they translated it) & apparently,he's doing what ever comes to his mind.He thought up the ending,but getting there is what he's thinking about.

This doesn't come as a suprise when you look at the quality of the writing. Sad how people will remember this as a second Dragonball in the US. Such a bad role model...

But we can at least hope that he doesn't plan to expand his horrible one-shot Bench.

I was under the impression that "approaching the climax" meant maybe 20 more chapters at most. Now all of sudden we're hearing that it'll continue for more than a year. I hope things start getting more tragic and serious.

Somebody is actually surprised about it? I was sure that it will be about 2 years, so I was pretty close.

He wanted to make manga about ramen at the begining, so maybe something about food this time? :D

I don't believe there will be a new Big Three after Naruto and Bleach end.
Fairy Tail is not a Shounen Jump series, so it doesn't replace one of the three.
Gintama, Hunter x Hunter (now suspended), maybe Toriko? Gintama seems che only series that can sell a lot for now, maybe Reborn but not having an active anime series does not help.

Reborn is probably near its end too, and from the last chapters (interesting ones) you could say it has no more than 6 months, almost everything have been explained (including the Vindice), and Tsuna's character development has already been reached, he's now suited for being the Vongola boss. Also in the last chapter began the last fight in this arc, and I doubt there's gonna be more arcs after it.

I don't think there's gonna be replacements in the Big Three, they were called the Big Three and they'll forever be remembered as WSJ's Big Three. But I think when Hunter x Hunter returns it could be one of Jump's pillars in addition to One Piece, Toriko and maybe Gintama. Its new Anime adaptation is giving it more fame as it's going that a new movie was announced after only 25 episodes. Nisekoi and Kuroko are doing a good job but I doubt they're gonna be any more important than they are now.

I'm pretty sure we all know how Naruto is going to end. The real mystery is who Tobi is, which will be revealed this upcoming chapter or the next.

I wonder if there's going to be any pairings at the end. Hopefully not...

FT is serialised in a different magazine, though...

I don't care about those crappy pairing too. I won't even care if Kishimoto gives the fangirls a Naruto X Sasuke bromance ending.

What is with all the haters in here, my god. You guys are such loyal fans to the series, OR TROLLS that have never even seen naruto before. Either way after seeing the manga in its entirety and probably both anime series, you still hate on it? I don't get.

For god sakes if i rated anything that was a 3, i would not be so devoted to watching or reading something this far, it would of been dropped along time ago. But their is definitively to much negative energy in this thread and the war arc was pretty awesome i thought, i don't see why everyone hated it so much and its still not over, we still have yet to see what happens when naruto and sasuske clash, or when the rest of the konoho 11 show up.



The recent interview really has be excited for what he has in store and he IS planning his story is not dragging like bleach did. He has a ending set in mind, but he's slowly trying to reach that critical point and in doing so making sure that he does not leaving out any open plot points.

One piece is a fantastic series, but i agree with alot of people, if oda continues the same ol thing he did in the grand line part of the show, its just going to loose its popularity if he doesn't bring out something more fresh and more key to the overarching story. If any show is dragging, it is one piece currently.

Clearly it hasn't occurred to you that a lot of people are only continuing to read Naruto just to see how it ends.
