According to Amazon Japan, the Blu-ray and the DVD of Strike Witches The Movie were announced to be released on October 26th. The total box office revenue of the movie was 200 million yen ($2.6 million). Strike Witches The Movie official website Akagi Haruyasu, the executive director of anime CGI studio Anima (".hack//The Movie: Sekai no Mukou ni"), posted on his Twitter that a new anime of Strike Witches is likely to be produced following Vivid Red Operation because a continuation of the series was hinted at the end of the movie and emphasized by the lines of Eila. Well, that's not bad. that a new anime of Strike Witches is likely to be produced following Vivid Red Operation because a continuation of the series was hinted at the end of the movie and emphasized by the lines of Eila. No amount of Strike Witches is ever enough. More more more! Not very surprising, though - the second season managed to sell slightly better than the first, a rare feat, and DVD/BD sales for the movie will probably be very good. Can't wait.
