yea im specifically hearing the 3rd season part EVERYWHERE.
i trust that its gonna be epic, but i dont know if medaka will be popular enough to get that far, atleast for now.

Addicted to manga, and will watch the anime.

And to go back to its shitty roots with season four. Medaka's Successor Arc is beyond horrible.

So, I thought that the anime was boring, except Unzen's eps, which were actually pretty good.

If something like Naruto is still getting episodes, then Medaka Box should definitely get at least another season for the Minus Arc.

Just finished up the Battle between the Student Councils, and I can't wait to see that animated. I'm also curious to see who Kumagawa's VA will be.

They originally said there would be 48 episodes, so Im guessing there will be 4 seasons, at least.

It's a little depressing... I understand the start of the manga is mediocre as hell but Gainax doing this has already proven to be a horrible choice. I at least could "stand" the first arc in the manga, but the anime was just "Oh, here's Zenkichi with goofy as fuck music playing in the background, now laugh". I'd feel a little insulted if they ruined Kumagawa, Naze, Ashin'n or any other character for that matter.

Gainax fans will be Gainax fans, and we can all hope for something, but it doesn't mean it's gunna make it any better because the manga got better in that stage...

I dropped this anime a few episodes in, is it really that good?

Getting a continuation isn't evidence that you would like or dislike it either way. It also appears that it was likely planned as split cour from the start, so it's hard to say how much fan demand came into the picture (sales of the anime are set to be extremely low, however the manga is popular).

I'm hoping for longer series. They must include 2 or 3 arc here I think.

The fact that they adapted what are probably the worst introductory chapters of any shonen manga ever (heck even the daily life arc in Hitman Reborn! was better) didn't exactly do much to raise Medaka's street cred.

Ah well, hopefully they'll do the Flask Plan arc right - thing is, doesn't the Flask Plan arc officially end halfway through a chapter? And the other half is the start of the Minus arc? Gainax isn't going to do something like put fillers in and ruin Kumagawa's entrance are they?

Actually whilst I remember to edit my post: To the people who have only seen the anime, I'm going to quote the best review of the Medaka Box manga, put simply "Your opinion doesn't matter two shits until you've read at least until the end of the Minus arc".

Zzzzzzzzzzzzz....Oh wait? What the shit? Their making another season of this boring crap? What? WHY?! Why not make another season of Haruhi Suzumiya?! That is a shitton better than this crap.

The two series have absolutely nothing to do with one another and the continuation of one has no effect on the other.

Tard I am merely giving out my opinion that instead of the anime industry as a whole waste their time on boring crap like this why not something that NEEDS another season? Such as Haruhi Suzumiya or Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai? School anime genre is what I am focusing on since it is a relevant genre to the subject at hand.

Why you ask?
Because they had to get pass the crap to get to the gold.

It's like One Piece or Reborn,it starts out either decent or not so great & gets better as the series go along.
But unlike those fellow WSJ series,Medaka Box had the unfortunate circumstance of getting adapted into 12 episodes which only covered the "crap" part of the series thus giving a "bad" 1st impression to those new to the series & leading some,like yourself,to wonder why the industry would waste their time on adapting this manga series.
